Matthijs is a student writing his Masters Thesis in the Plasma Control group from prof. Egemen.

After having completed his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente, he went to study a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Science and Technology of Nuclear fusion at the University of Eindhoven. Here he focused on control engineering and plasma physics and the application of both for the control of plasma in Tokamaks.
